I love how comic-book-y the framing of the shots in Smallville is. Seeing scenes in gif form really brings it out, and it’s… well, I wouldn’t go so far as iconic but definitely distinct and awesome. Oh and also, this is a totally ridiculously slashy scene which I’m forever thankful to the showrunners for, no matter the headaches they gave me later on. *nostalgic as hell right now*
